KT Partners with Perion to Attract Global Advertisers; NHN AD Enhances Access to Korean Premium Media

This collaboration marks Perion’s inaugural foray into direct programmatic supply integrations within Korea, which is anticipated to start contributing to revenue in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Through this joint venture, KT emerges as the inaugural media owner in Korea to implement Perion’s Header Bidding technology, a fundamental component of its Supply Side Platform (SSP). This innovation will provide unhindered access to global programmatic demand through both Open Exchange and Private Marketplace (PMP) settings. NHN AD, one of Korea’s leading digital marketing agencies, will play a pivotal role as the local activation partner, ensuring the smooth facilitation of PMP deals and onboarding processes for both domestic advertisers and publishers.

The partnership with KT will showcase 179 prominent subway screens along the Shinbundang Line and Seoul Metro Line 9, thus integrating programmatic DOOH capabilities into vital public transportation locations. Simultaneously, NHN AD will enhance access to affluent audiences focused on health and wellness through 85 screens located in exclusive golf driving ranges and premium fitness clubs across major urban centers in Korea.

These strategic alliances signify one of Korea’s first and largest implementations of programmatic DOOH technology beyond traditional retail outlets. This initiative is set to broaden access to valuable audiences in urban settings and lifestyle environments, thereby transforming how advertisers engage with potential customers.
